Well a very busy weekend spinning and selling my products at Kelly House in aid of Childrens Hospice S.W.
Do look at Kelly House facebook site as lots of photos of the work there which was very varied.
The weather did not let us done in the end, only rained when we were packing up..
It the start of British wool week and there are knit ins and spin ins around the country.
This week there is an exhibtion at Peter Tavy Spinners.
Also a new spinning group starting at Alturnun Cornwall, email me for the details.

After a busy time at the Embroiderers Guild exhibition, now getting ready for Woolly Weekend, which celebrates all things wool,
Skeining up naturally dyed wool etc and preparing sample boards about spinning and dyeing.
Have garments and hats to complete.

Have spent the week collecting dahlia heads and adding to dyebath, lovely yellows, golds and rust colours obtained.Thinking about what to prepare for Wooley Weekend 12/13 October at Kelly House Lifton Devon.
Have promised display boards on sheep breeds and wools, plus natural dyeing, why not pay a visit

Now back from travels and teaching, met some lovely and enthusiastic people, weather very warm, now back to producing more wool and dyeing yarn.

Website live today, weather still preventing me dyeing yarn so busy reorganising workroom and photographing products to go to ESTY SHOP
Also getting samples ready for textile course I am running in Portugal and then some holiday time in Madeira where it will be the Flower Festival so lots of inspiration here for colour and texture for both my knitting and mixed media textile work
